Supplier matching / controlled brief

China leading outdoor running shoes factory search support

Translate a factory-search phrase into a documented footwear requirement. We are an independent buyer-side sourcing service; supplier position, production capability and product suitability require evidence for the offered item.

Four decisions before a quote comparison

  1. Capture the requirement

Record footwear use, running surface, upper and outsole materials, closure and support construction. Separate required features from alternatives, and attach a size chart reference rather than assuming that US and EU labels convert uniformly.

  2. Frame supplier questions

Ask possible suppliers to identify the offered style, manufacturing source, MOQ basis and size run. Record which sizes or colors share a minimum and whether branding requires a separate development step. An unanswered question remains unresolved.

  3. Plan sample review

Agree which size and construction the sample represents, who reviews fit and how packaging is checked. Sample fees, preparation time and shipping require confirmation. A related style sample does not approve a different outsole or upper.

  4. Normalize the quotation

Place currency, per-pair basis, pair packaging, carton ratio, artwork, tooling, sample charges and freight exclusions in one comparison. Ask for a revision when an offer changes the material, size allocation or destination scope.

The buyer approves requirements and purchasing decisions. Suppliers confirm their offer and documents; sourcing coordination does not certify a shoe or replace the buyer's inspection.

Evidence grows through explicit review gates

  1. Requirement: write the target upper, outsole and size system, with dimensions in mm where relevant.
  2. Document: request an item identifier, size chart, packaging specification and any exact-item test evidence supporting a quoted claim.
  3. Sample: record the measured sample, reviewer and open fit or construction issues against the same brief revision.
  4. Order scope: confirm quantity by variant, carton dimensions, trade terms, quote validity and production assumptions in writing.

A generic certificate cannot resolve an exact shoe's characteristics. Production timing depends on approved specifications and supplier scheduling; no fixed lead time is implied. A budget may narrow materials or customization, but it does not remove sample or document questions.
