China Outdoor Running Shoes Manufacturer Sourcing buyer notes

Footwear buying questions for material, size, samples, packing and comparable quote scope.

Read a note with your proposed shoe in mind

A procurement article helps organize questions, but it cannot confirm the exact model a supplier will offer. Carry the upper and outsole materials, size run, closure and pair packaging from your requirement into the quotation. If an article describes a different configuration, identify that difference before treating its checklist as complete.

Use the publication date to identify the reference version. Product availability, minimum quantities and sample timing are supplier-specific and require a current response. The intended running surface and buyer channel may also change which document or sample questions matter for your order.

Preserve the difference between a buyer requirement and a supplier statement. A target dimension in mm is a request until the supplier confirms the offered item. Exact-item test evidence needs an item identifier and relevant test conditions; a broad product-family description is not a verified outcome.

Pricing discussions need the same unit and pack basis. A per-pair number, a boxed-pair offer and a carton price cannot be ranked until quantities, packaging and freight scope match. Missing charges remain open, and budget preferences guide alternative requests rather than establish a supplier rating.

Follow the Spec Review worksheet to turn a reading note into a controlled brief. The sourcing method explains the approval gates, while the inquiry catalog lets you choose a product-family reference. Submit your requirements when the buyer task is clear enough to review.

Keep the article, supplier response and buyer approval as separate records. Record any changed material, fit reference or packaging assumption in the brief revision before asking the supplier to update the quotation.
