Define what one quoted pair includes

Inquiry names identify the selected product family, not stocked or approved models. Specify footwear use and surface; upper and outsole materials; size system and size run; closure and support construction; pair packaging and carton ratio. Give quantities by size and color, the US destination and target timing, plus documents to request for the proposed item.

For a size curve, list pairs against each requested size instead of sending only an overall total. Confirm whether a supplier's minimum applies per style, color or size. An offered alternate last or material belongs in a separate comparison line until the buyer reviews it; photographs cannot establish fit or performance.

Packaging can change the quotation basis. Distinguish a loose pair, a boxed pair and a master carton, and ask for the carton dimensions and gross weight used in the freight assumption. Compare artwork, sample, tooling and delivery exclusions in the same currency and unit basis.

Optional budget and supplier preference help frame questions without requiring a current offer. Say whether the amount is per pair or total order, name the currency and identify the trade-offs you accept. High-end, mid-range, budget and undecided are buyer preferences rather than validated supplier levels.

Identify an approver for the reference sample and packaging proof. Record the brief revision with each supplier response so an altered outsole or size allocation triggers a new decision instead of inheriting an earlier approval.
